-What is Acousmonium

Acousmonium is a sound system devised by the French composer "François Bayle" as a performance tool for performing electronic music at concerts.

Acousmonium players adjust the volume of many speakers in real time while playing electronic music. Acousmonium is an instrument and the performer is the conductor of the orchestra.

It operates the fader in real time as the work is played, and actively presents a musical interpretation.

"Play" electronic music

"Playing back the work recorded on the media is the direct listening."

This is a major feature of electronic music.

In other words, electronic music is an experience of "work → listening".

Then, why not add the opportunity of "playing" here?

Acousmonium's greatest appeal lies in its ability to add the value of a one-time experience of "live" to electronic music.

From "playback" to "experience" of electronic music.

Performance by Acousmonium is not a "playback / reproduction" of electronic music, but an artistic activity that transforms it into a " Once-in-a-lifetime experience " that is indispensable to music.

没頭

Immerse yourself in the sound.

" Acousmatique " means the situation of "listening without looking at the source" in French.

"Acousmatic music" is music that listens purely to sound without being affected by vision.

The performance is performed in a pitch-black space.

This is an environment suitable for listening to electronic music, and an Acousmatique space where you can enjoy the sound purely.

Immerse yourself in sound, music and space.

Speakers surround you 360 degrees, you can feel only the sound.

A listening experience surrounded by "sound space".

This is "Acousmonium".

音楽コンサート

Commitment to deliver

In this performance, we will use a binaural microphone that has been active in the fields of ASMR, games, and pop music, which have become a hot topic on YouTube in recent years.

What is a binaural microphone?

Binaural is a word that means "both ears".

A type of stereo sound source that records with a dummy head microphone(microphone capsules in both ears of a model that imitates a human head) or a small microphone(that is actually installed in both ears by a human).

By playing the sound through this microphones with headphones or earphones, you can experience the sound as if you were there even if you are not at the venue.
